Four years after overcoming the brink of bankruptcy by successfully delivering a valve system for rocket engines, Tsukuda Manufacturing faces another crisis.

One day, the company receives a mysterious prototype request from a major manufacturer, Nihon Klein. Tempted by the promise of future mass-production orders, Tsukuda dives into the new partnership — only to be exploited by the corporate giant, which steals their technology at a low price and leaves them burdened with the development costs.

Even their stable contract with Teikoku Heavy Industries for rocket valves suddenly comes under threat when the client announces a competitive bidding process. Meanwhile, Sayama Manufacturing, a new rival company led by a former NASA engineer, leaks Tsukuda’s blueprints to win Nihon Klein’s project and begins sabotaging them to seize the rocket valve deal as well.

At the same time, Mano, a former employee who once left Tsukuda after a disagreement, returns with a proposal to jointly develop a medical device. Inspired by this, Tsukuda Manufacturing decides to apply its precision valve technology to a new artificial heart valve named “Gaudi”, aiming not only to save the company but also to give new life to children suffering from heart disease.
